1. One zucchini (size depends on the amounts of portions you need, the bigger the vegetable, the more sandwiches you’ll get)

2. Smoked salmon

3. One small chilli pepper

4. Parsley

5. Cream cheese

The recipe:

Wash the zucchini, dry it and slice it (aim at quite thick slices). Place the pieces of cut salmon on the zucchini slices. Chop the parsley finely. Then use 1/4 of the chilli pepper and chop it. Add the parsley and chilli pepper to the fresh cream. Spread the fresh cream on the salmon. Use the rest of the chilli pepper to decorate the “sandwich.” Refrigerate til the guests arrive.

1. 4 tortillas

2. Lettuce (4 leaves)

3. Mayonnaise

4. Cream cheese (preferably horseradish flavour if available, but may be easily replaced by anyone of your favourite flavoured cream cheeses)

5. 1 tomato

6. Yellow cheese (4 slices)

7. Ham or smoked salmon (4 slices)

8. Salt, pepper.

The recipe:

Spread the cream cheese all over the tortilla bread. Next, place the lettuce in the middle of the tortilla bread (all over the stripe that’s about 4 cm wide). Spread the mayo on the lettuce leaves (not too much, though. We don’t want your cholesterol level to skyrocket!). Then, place ham/salmon slices on the mayo. Then you do the same with yellow cheese and tomato. Add salt and pepper. Roll the tortilla bread tightly. Cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for about 1 h. Then, slice the roll to get a bunch of mini-tortilla rolls. (you may optionally use toothpicks to ensure that the rolls won’t fall apart).
